MARLTON, NJ (July 25, 2003) – WorldScape Defense Company, LLC signed a blanket purchase order for five million dollars as a pre-selected subcontractor on the Lockheed Martin CECOM Rapid Response (CR2) Team. Under this $23 billion dollar program, Lockheed Martin is one of the eight prime contractors approved for this indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract, with Lockheed Martin’s anticipated value to be on the order of $2.9 billion over an eight year period.

The CECOM CR2 program is designed to provide a contracting vehicle that expedites industry proposals in seven days and awards task orders within nineteen days of the solicitation release. The blanket purchase orders provide the mechanism for the subcontracting teams to immediately begin work.
