WorldScape Defense Successfully Completes $1.75M ATTISS Phase II with the Office of Naval Research

Marlton, NJ (May 25, 2004) - WorldScape Defense Company, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of WorldScape Inc., has successfully completed Phase II of it’s "Advanced Telepresence Thru Immersive Imaging-SceneServer" (ATTISS) Contract with the Office of Naval Research (ONR).

"We are currently anticipating award of Phase III of this program which will further reduce risk toward demonstrating this capability in support of the Navy mission."

 

WorldScape Defense, LLC is working with ONR to investigate, validate and benchmark high-performance processing algorithms and architectures, and to provide sensor array technology and immersive image processing technology.

The goal of the ATTISS program is to provide a basis for evaluating and meeting the demanding data processing and display requirements for numerous Navy programs. In addition, the company’s Scalable Processing Platform (SPP) technology will provide a hardware capability that will adapt to the many different environments that require extraordinary levels of computing performance.
