WorldScape Defense Wins Contractor Position on Lockheed Martin Rapid Response Team

MARLTON, NJ (March 11, 2003) – WorldScape Defense Company, LLC announced today that it has been designated as one of the subcontractors on the Lockheed Martin led team to support the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) Rapid Response (CR2) program. This $23 billion multiple award, indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity contract has only eight awardees with Lockheed’s total ceiling being $2.9 billion over an eight year period. 

The CR2 contract enables over 60 carefully selected members of the world’s leading defense, aerospace and electronics firms to provide a substantial range of technology, engineering, and program support to CR2 customers. The program also enables agencies to have contracted work begin in as little as 19 days. All of the DoD, federal and state agencies are able to solicit under the Rapid Response program.
