WorldScape Defense Awarded $1.86 Million ATTISS Phase IV Contract from the Office of Naval Research

WorldScape today announced the latest contract worth $1.86 Million to deliver next-generation processing and application technology to government and commercial markets. With a focus on low-power, embedded processing architectures, WorldScape will deliver hardware and application demonstrations for a variety of image and signal processing applications.

The demonstration of enabling technologies for immersive training is a particular goal of the program. Large arrays of synchronized, high-resolution cameras will be demonstrated and operate at a scale and size never before realized. “The ability to capture real world environments with the CamArray™ will enable a wide variety of training, education, and entertainment scenarios to be realized. Trainees will be able to look over the shoulder of experienced personnel and significantly lower training times while increasing the overall quality and cost of the training experience” said Peter Rogina, President of WorldScape. “The extension into gaming and entertainment is clear and WorldScape is preparing to enter those markets with our differentiated technology offerings. Strategic partnerships will be key to successfully bringing these capabilities and products to market.”

WorldScape Inc. and its wholly owned subsidiary, WorldScape Defense Company, LLC are developing Scalable Processing Platform solutions for image & signal processing applications using low power, tera-scale performance technology for defense, academia and industry.

WorldScape is located in New Jersey and Northern California.
